 Pitch Idea  Within this blog post I will be speaking about the show that helped influence the concept of our game show which we pitched to be commissioned. I will be focusing on the Branding, Style, Content and the Concept of the show. Pre Production, Planning and Research. What worked? I feel this stage was really beneficial for me as it allowed me to really develop, research and come to terms with my idea. I hadn't ever actually researched and analyzed  a poem before, so I wanted to ensure I did this properly and really come to terms with what the Poet was trying to convey through the poem written. In this case I decided to chose 'The Road Not Taken'  by the poet Robert Frost.  An Integral Part was also writing the Script, this was key because it was the first part of the developmental stage, in which I needed to of understood the poem at this point and taken from the poem what I wish to convey into my own piece. Workshop Films and Output  Due to current circumstances we are studying from home, which means workshops have been conducted on Zoom and haven't been the same as what they would normally. Our first workshop was with Sam who went through premiere pro with us, I felt confident in this stage as I have been an avid premiere pro user for around 7 years now; however, it was beneficial to have a refresher related to this unit.  Our later workshop we looked at both the Soviet Montage and the Kuleshov Effect in which I will be researching and speaking about below.  Test Shoots  So that I could ensure my production run smoothly, while also ensuring that what I want to experiment with works. I did some test shoots so that I can make sure I am prepared and can overcome any issues I may face during production.  As I've mentioned, due to current circumstances, I am having to do production on my own with no production or crew team. Firstly, I wanted to look at a few things I already feel nervous about due to the circumstances and initial problems this may cause.  1 - Filming in POV  Initially I am extremely worried about filming in POV, as although I feel this will be crucial for the audience and will create a tone/feel for my character, of the audience being inside the characters mind. I am nervous of how I am going to pull this of. I will be using my Canon 250D and have looked for a strap or a harness to purchase so I can get the POV affect, however, without being extremely expensive, there didn't seem to be many available to...

Pre-Production Paperwork Below is all the production paperwork I have used to ensure that my production is organised, safe and runs smoothly.  Script Script Writing, I always find quite difficult as I find it hard to put words onto a page if I can't visually see it but I felt fully prepared at this stage in what I wanted my short film to be about and what I wanted to go into it. Writing the script is beneficial as it allows me to then go onto the storyboard and shot list which are the main factors that help me go from developing the idea and the storyline, to then being able to visually see the story and prepare for the production stage.  Risk Assessment  This is the Risk Assessment for my project below, Risk Assessments are so important as it allows me to ensure I am filming safely and putting no one at risk of danger or on production.
